7 kids die on attempting the blackout challenge in TikTok.

Seven kids under the age of fifteen have died of the blackout challenges on the Chinese making app TikTok. These challenges have made them choke with belts, purses, and strings until passing them out.

TikTok is facing many lawsuits recently from the parents whose children had attempted to do the blackout challenge.

The recent lawsuit was filed by a parent of an 8-year-old Lalani Walton and a 9-year-old Arrirani Arroyo.

Based on the data, about 5 kids have died in the year 2021.

The parents blame the TikTok videos that appear on the screen and push them to accept the dangerous challenges, and that, they are putting the challenges right in front of them, even when they are not searching for them they said.

A TikTok spokesman said that putting the challenges in TikTok has never been the trend of the app. The company spokesman said, “We remain vigilant in our commitment to user safety and would immediately remove related content if found. Our deepest sympathies go out to the family for their tragic loss.”
