A petition challenging the University of Hyderabad’s refusal to grant permission for a Rahul Gandhi event was dismissed by the Telangana High Court.

HYDERABAD: The Telangana High Court dismissed a petition on Wednesday challenging Osmania University’s (OU) refusal to allow a student-led interactive session with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on the OU campus on May 7. Congress workers and others had challenged Osmania University’s refusal to grant them permission to hold the interactive session.
