Reuters, 3 April – A 45-foot-long hole was excavated into the grounds of a Ukrainian church where a mass burial was discovered last week after Russian soldiers departed from the village of Bucha, according to satellite photographs released on Sunday by a private US corporation.
On Saturday, Reuters journalists visiting Bucha, 37 kilometers (23 miles) northwest of Kyiv, witnessed bodies lying on the streets. One church’s mass burial remained open, with hands and feet sticking through the red soil heaped on top.
