After over a decade, the Tamil Nadu government plans to relaunch the bed and breakfast programme.

The bed and breakfast plan, as well as hop-on, hop-off tours, will be given a new lease on life after nearly ten years.

The state government has decided to resurrect the bed and breakfast scheme in order to provide affordable lodging for visitors in areas where motels are not available, and to resume hop-on, hop-off trips covering tourist attractions in Chennai.
