In an interview with Israel’s channel 12 TV, Biden stated that the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was still listed as a foreign terrorist organization by the United States (FTO).
When asked if he would use war as a last resort to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, Biden responded in the affirmative.
When asked if he would keep the IRDC in the U.S.FTO, he likewise answered affirmatively.
While Washington accuses the IRGC of being part of a global terrorist campaign, it is a significant political force in Iran that runs its corporate empires, intelligence services, and other institutions.
