On Friday, a man was seen carrying his seven-year-old daughter’s body on his shoulders in Chhattisgarh’s Surguja district. The video quickly went viral, prompting health minister T S Singh Deo to order an investigation into the incident. The girl died on Friday morning at the Community Health Centre in Lakhanpur village in the district, according to officials, and her father took her body away before a hearse (car used to transport dead bodies) arrived.
