Telangana Congress leaders Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Renuka Chowdhury clashed with police on Thursday during the ‘Chalo Raj Bhavan’ protest organized by the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) in Hyderabad against Rahul Gandhi’s questioning by the Enforcement Directorate. Chowdhury was later arrested by Hyderabad Police for allegedly grabbing a police officer’s collar.
Congress leaders, workers, and NSUI activists smashed the windows of state road transport buses and set fire to a police officer’s two-wheeler. While Vikramarka was seen pushing and shoving police officers in a viral video, Chowdhury was seen grabbing a sub-inspector by the collar as she protested being forcibly removed from the protest site.
