Covid-19 vaccines for children aged 12 to 14, as well as booster doses for anyone over the age of 60, will be available beginning March 16

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya announced on Monday (March 14, 2022) that the Covid-19 vaccination for children aged 12 to 14 years old, as well as a “precaution dose” for everyone over the age of 60, will begin on March 16.

“If the children are safe, then the country is safe,” Mansukh wrote in Hindi as he shared the news on Twitter, urging families with children and people aged 60 and up to get vaccinated.
