Demolition in Prayagraj: According to records, the activist’s wife owns the property and has paid the water bill and tax.

Parveen Fatima paid a water bill of Rs 4,578 to Jal Kal Vibhag, Prayagraj, according to the receipt dated February 8.

A Prayagraj Nagar Nigam certificate dated January 28 shows that Parveen Fatima owns House No. 39C/2A/1, as well as the payment of the house tax for fiscal year 2020-2021.

YET, after only a day’s notice, the Prayagraj administration demolished the house on Sunday, citing construction violations under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973.
