Elon Musk has declared that his USD 44 billion bid for Twitter has been halted.
Elon Musk stated today that his acquisition of Twitter Inc will be postponed unless the business’s CEO, Parag Agrawal, publicly confirms that the company has less than 5% spam accounts.
Musk tweeted, “While four times what Twitter claims, 20% fake/spam accounts may be *much* higher.” My offer was contingent on Twitter’s SEC filings being accurate. Yesterday, Twitter’s CEO flatly refused to provide proof of 5%. Unless he does, this transaction will not be finalized.”
