
The government has warned India against associating itself with Russia, according to President Joe Biden’s top economic adviser, and US officials have been “disappointed” with some of New Delhi’s responses to the Ukraine incursion.
“There are undoubtedly areas where both China and India’s judgments in the context of the invasion have disappointed us,” Brian Deese, head of the White House National Economic Council, told On Wednesday, reporters attended a brunch organized by the Christian Science Monitor.
According to him, the US has cautioned India that a “more explicit strategic alignment” with Moscow would have “serious and long-term implications.”
