In a murder case, the CBI has arrested the daughter of Himachal High Court Acting Chief Justice.

Jagran News Desk, New Delhi: The CBI arrested Kalyani Singh, the daughter of Himachal Pradesh High Court Acting Chief Justice Sabina, on Wednesday in connection with the murder of national-level shooter Sukhmanpreet Singh Sidhu.

Kalyani is the first person arrested in this case. Singh, also known as Sippy Sidhu, was assassinated in Chandigarh’s Sector 27 in September 2015.

The corporate lawyer, 35, was raised in Mohali, Punjab, and is the grandson of former Punjab and Haryana High Court judge Justice SS Sidhu.
