
According to data provided on April 1 by the finance ministry, GST revenues in March reached an all-time high of Rs 1.42 lakh crore, up 6.8% over the previous month.
Central GST accounted for Rs 25,830 crore, state GST for Rs 32,378 crore, integrated GST for Rs 74,470 crore, and compensatory cess for Rs 9,417 crore of the total.
The government paid the Integrated GST in March, paying Rs 29,816 crore to the Central GST and Rs 25,032 crore to the State GST.
