In Salem, Tamil Nadu, a murder suspect assaults a prison warden.

On Monday afternoon, two murder suspects from the district wreaked havoc in the Salem Central Prison, thrashing a prison warder for not allowing them to keep stones in their cells for exercise.

Karthik, the prison warder, was sent to the Salem government hospital with minor injuries.
