
On Monday, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin introduced a resolution in the Legislative Assembly urging the Centre to drop the University Grants Commission’s proposal to hold a Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admissions to various courses, including undergraduate programmes, at all of the country’s central universities.
The resolution was introduced in order to “exercise state government rights.”
