
India has called for international action to address the nuclear-missile nexus between Pakistan and North Korea, calling it as a threat to regional security.
India’s Permanent Representative T.S. Tirumurti told the Security Council on Friday that New Delhi “believes there is a pressing need to address the spread of nuclear and missile technology related to the DPRK (Democratic People’s Republic of Korea) in our region.”
“These ties, particularly in India, have a deleterious impact on regional peace and security.”
