
Calling out the West, India warned on Wednesday that food grains should not go the way of the Covid-19 vaccinations, as it expressed worry over stockpiling and discrimination amid a “unjustified surge” in food prices.
It emphasized that its move to limit wheat exports will ensure that it can properly react to people in need.
The research, titled “The State of Inequality in India,” was issued on Wednesday by EAC chairman Bibek Debroy. It was created by the Gurgaon-based Institute for Competitiveness.
