
April 20th, Shivamogga (K’taka) (PTI) In order to prevent contract awarding malpractices, the Karnataka government would appoint a three-member commission consisting of a retired high court judge and two specialists to review tender proposals for all public projects worth Rs 50 crore.
In addition, the government has issued an outright ban on initiating construction projects based on verbal directions from ministers or higher authorities.
