On Sunday, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha met with a team led by Ravinder Raina, President of the BJP in J&K, and Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organization). The team included former legislators Surinder Ambardar and Sofi Yousuf, as well as BJP Spokesperson Altaf Thakur and BJP District President Srinagar, Ashok Bhat.
The delegation expressed worry at the execution of an innocent person, handed over a note to the Lieutenant Governor, and requested that the list of requests pertaining to PM package workers be addressed.
The BJP leaders also asked the Lt Governor to look into the promotion issues of PM package workers, and the Lt Governor informed the delegation that he would immediately order the administrative secretaries to look into the matter and handle it on a priority basis.
