With an elbow injury, England pacer Mark Wood has been ruled out of the upcoming IPL.
According to a report in ‘Espncricinfo,’ Wood will not play for the Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL beginning March 26 due to a right elbow injury sustained during the first Test against the West Indies last week.
At the IPL auction last month, new entrants Super Giants paid Rs 7.5 crore for Wood.
Wood only bowled 17 overs against the West Indies in North Sound.
K L Rahul will captain the Super Giants, who will be coached by Andy Flower.
