Mumbai has 117 new Covid cases, the most in a single day since February 24.

Today, Mumbai reported 117 new Covid cases, the city’s highest daily case count in more than two months, accounting for the majority of coronavirus cases reported in Maharashtra in the last 24 hours.

Mumbai currently has 642 active cases and has administered 7,035 Covid tests in the last 24 hours, with zero deaths and a 1.66 percent positivity rate.

Maharashtra as a whole reported 188 cases with no fatalities. According to official data, there are currently 1,049 active cases in the state.

Prior to today, the city’s highest one-day tally was on February 24, when it recorded 119 cases.
