
Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, is projected to remain in office. The decision was announced at a meeting of the BJP’s legislative party in Dehradun on Monday, March 21. The BJP’s central observers for the state, Union minister Rajnath Singh, and senior politician Meenakshi Lekhi attended the meeting at the state party headquarters in Dehradun.
The 11-day wait for the next chief minister of the state came to an end with the announcement by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.
“Pushkar Singh Dhami, the leader of the Legislative Party, has been elected.” I congratulate him and am confident that under his leadership, Uttarakhand would achieve great progress.” Rajnath Singh stated, according to ANI.
Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Chief Minister of Uttarkhand, will take the oath of office on March 23.
