‘Prashant Kishor wanted Priyanka Gandhi to be the Congress chief and have a free hand in enacting reforms.’

According to a Congress functionary, election strategist Prashant Kishor desired Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as party chief.

This revelation comes a day after Congress officially announced that the election strategist will no longer be working for the party and has declined to be a member of the general elections in 2024, an empowered action group has been formed.

According to reports, the grand old party was unwilling to accept his reforms, including the restructuring of the AICC and the Congress chief’s office, and wanted to limit him to poll strategy.
