With 67 votes, junior trade minister Penny Mordaunt comes in second place to Rishi, while foreign secretary Liz Truss receives 50 votes.
There are now only two remaining applicants. Nadhim Zahawi, the finance minister, and Jeremy Hunt, a former cabinet minister, are out.
Tom Tungendhat received 37 votes, Suella Braverman received 32 votes, and Kemi Bedenoch received 40.
