West Indies pacer Shamilia Connell collapsed on the field during Bangladesh’s unsuccessful run chase in their women’s World Cup match on Friday and had to be taken to the hospital.

The cause of Connell’s collapse is unknown, but she was able to get up and climb onto a waiting ambulance with her hands on her stomach after her concerned teammates ran towards her during Bangladesh’s 47th over.
