
Shanghai records 6 days consecutively of high temperature with 40 degrees Celsius and the Shanghai municipal meteorological observatory issued a red alert on Sunday.
Xinhua, Shanghai has been facing an extreme temperature for a week from July 5, where some parts were given alerts.
It has been predicted that, the temperature will continue for the next week also because of the subtropical highs.
Shanghai municipal meteorological observatory has issued some guidelines to the people on how to tackle the heat.
The people have been advised to avoid outdoor works, and should drink lot of salt water to avoid dizziness and extreme sweating take some preventive measures to overcome heatstroke.
China was given yellow alert on heatstroke last week in various parts of the country, and now it is getting all four- tier color alerts.
