Following the completion of the three-day Gyanvapi Masjid assessment on Monday, a Hindu lawyer in the case stated that a Shivling had been discovered inside a wazukhana or pond on the mosque compound.
The mosque committee, however, disputed the report, claiming that what was alleged to be a Shivling was actually a fountain.
