
Students should be inspired by Sindhu’s determination and perseverance, said Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Wednesday. Stalin paid a visit to a class XII student who is being treated at the Tamil Nadu Government Multi-Super Specialty Hospital in Omandurar after suffering serious injuries in an accident while playing with a friend two years ago.
She recently took the class XII board examination from a stretcher, thanks to the assistance of the 108-ambulance service. Stalin visited Sindhu in the hospital on Wednesday after learning about her injuries and praised her for her determination to take the board exam despite her injuries.
“Students should be inspired by Sindhu’s determination to complete board exams despite suffering a serious injury,” Stalin said. The Chief Minister informed her that the State government would cover her medical expenses. According to the release, he later gave her father an allotment order to open a tea shop on the Omandurar hospital grounds.
