Three militants have been killed in the ongoing gunfire in Baramulla, according to authorities.

According to police, three militants have been killed so far in a battle in the Malwah area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The gunfire also resulted in the injuries of four troops and a policeman.

The shootout erupted as army, police, and paramilitary troops conducted a search operation in the Pariswani region near Kunzer, according to a police official.

According to him, the army and Budgam police initiated the operation after receiving an information regarding the presence of militants.
