
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Maharashtra on Tuesday, June 14th, to dedicate the Jal Bhushan Building and Gallery of Revolutionaries in Mumbai and the Jagatguru Shrisant Tukaram Maharaj Temple in Pune. At the Bandra Kurla Complex, a suburban business centre, the prime minister will attend the ‘Dwishatabdi Mahotsav’ (200th-anniversary celebrations) of ‘Mumbai Samachar.’ According to a Mumbai Traffic Police officer, some routes leading to the BKC in Mumbai will stay closed due to the Prime Minister’s visit, with traffic redirected on others.
The BKC connector, as well as the Kurla Razzak Junction, MTNL Junction, Platina Junction, Trident Junction, Jio World Centre, and the American Consulate, will be closed to all vehicles, he said.
Vehicle traffic will be prohibited on several roads. According to the official, all of these traffic restrictions will be in force between 4 and 8 p.m. (Tuesday). According to the official, in addition to additional security at the BKC, more police officers will be deployed on various highways.
