On July 1, major cryptocurrency traded in the green, as the global crypto market cap increased by 0.52 percent to $896.88 billion in the previous 24 hours. During the period, the total crypto market volume increased by 15.65% to $72.37 billion.
The total volume in DeFi was $7.12 billion, accounting for 9.84 percent of the total 24-hour volume in the crypto market. The total volume of stable coins was $64.79 billion, accounting for 89.53 percent of the crypto market’s 24-hour volume.
Bitcoin was worth more than Rs 16 lakh, with a 42.97% market share. According to CoinMarketCap data, this represents a 0.07 percent increase over the previous day.
In other news, cryptocurrency exchange Binance has appointed Khaby Lame, TikTok’s most followed creator, as its global brand ambassador.
