Suella Braverman, an attorney general, Wednesday on TV, she formally declared a leadership bid even before the quit of Johnson. She said she loves the country because, she came to Britain without anything but it was Britain who gave her hope, security, education, career and all, and that she owes a debt and gratitude to serve the country and she feels it would be honor to serve as PM.
Rishi Sunak, who had recently quit his chancellor on Tuesday is widely expected to run the PM race, yet he hasn’t announced the leadership bid.
India said that, the resignation of UK PM Johnson will not affect the relationship with UK as these two have good partnership.
A spokesman on Thursday told that, there was a deal about the free trade agreement between these countries, but India hopes to take it forward to a good momentum he said.
