
On Sunday evening, a bus carrying 28 tourists from Panna district in Madhya Pradesh and two staffers crashed into a 150-metre-deep gorge in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, killing at least 25 people.
According to officials from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), which is assisting in the rescue and relief efforts alongside the district administration, 25 bodies have been recovered and five People who have been injured have been taken to a nearby hospital. The passengers were on their way to Uttarkashi’s Yamunotri Dham.
