The recent incident involving IndiGo airlines refusing to allow a differently-abled child to board a flight has sparked thousands of reactions from people all over the world. The teen’s family was denied boarding at Ranchi airport because the “child was in a panic situation” and was not behaving “normally.” IndiGo CEO Ronojoy Dutta finally addressed the unfortunate situation and expressed regret.
The specially-abled teen was deemed a risk and unfit for the flight by the IndiGo representative. Following this declaration, the IndiGo Airlines crew, family, and co-passengers protested the airline. This sparked a massive argument inside the airport. While the IndiGo CEO expressed regret for the incident, he also offered to buy the child an electric wheelchair.
