
Yosemite National Park of California has been caught with wildfire in the camping spot. Firefighters are working to rescue the oldest and largest trees of the world.
It has been reported that, the heatwave has doubled spreading of fire over 2,340 acres. “We are doing everything we can to put this fire out.” Including using tankers and helicopters and ground crews said Nancy Phillipe the spokeswoman for Yosemite Fire Information.
Campers and residents have been evacuated as the smoke has caused an unhealthy environment.
Yosemite National Park situated in California is one of the famous tourist spot, it is the home for Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias.
The Washburn fire was first reported on Thursday, and the firefighters are trying to put the fire down.
Authorities are hoping that humidity will increase in the area, with the removal of ground fuels, the ground fire will reduce the risk said the fire management.
Wildfires have become common in California in the last decades due to the dry weather.
